You guys are seeing what I’m seeing, right? So Blumhouse is doing a mid-year film festival called “Halfway to Halloween” where they’re rereleasing some of their old box office hits back to the screen again. Plus, the tickets are for $8! I haven’t seen prices like that since I saw Insidious on the screen back when it came out!
They’re partnering with AMC Theatres in order to get it done, and of course my city, one of their production hubs, is going to hosting it. The only problem is – – I won’t be there! I can’t be there, because I’m away at stupid college getting my stupid degree. Ugh. Why does my opportunity-less city suddenly want to have all of the good stuff happen now that I’m gone?!
It’s a total bummer, but maybe, if I’m lucky, they’ll be doing an event somewhere near me. Not like I’d be able to go, anyway! I’m still down for the count on the vehicle thing. Maybe by the time summer rolls around again, I’ll finally be driving my shiny red scooter. I’ve been wanting to take that thing out for years man. And then I can drive myself to whatever theaters are going to hold the annual Halfway to Halloween Festival myself…Sigh.
