I had a honeybee hitch a ride with me on my scooter today. I was quite befuddled, at first, seeing it land on my speedometer while I was stopped at a red light. I had no idea they made a habit of that, either!

I figured it would’ve flown off once I started moving again, but it merely coated its little legs in a sticky substance and rode with me all three miles. I even stayed under 30 MPH just so she wouldn’t be too uncomfortable!

I eventually pulled over at my destination, to which she licked her little legs dry and flew off to explore new flowery horizons. I hope she’s doing well, wherever she ends up being! ❤️
